How to remove plastic cover from LS28 pre

Hi Guys,
I just bought a brand new LS28 pre amp and there is a transparent plastic cover in front of the display screen. Tried double sided tape to pull it off but no joy. Any of u guys have succeed in peeling off the plastic cover?

Strange, I've owned several arc preamps (admittedly not that one) and I don't remember anything like that. Everything came right off, if there was any wrap. You can't find a corner and peel it off?

Oh... You're saying it is a hard plastic cover? Definitely never saw that.

The dealer told me to peel it off at the corner too. It won't peel off.

There is a layer of transparent plastic on the display to protect it during transportation. Is hard to notice untill after awhile it will get bubbly then u need to remove it.

That stuff can sometimes be very stubborn to remove. Although I don't have your preamp, I've had other things with that same type of issue.

You might try using a hair dryer on the lowest setting (just warm) to see if that helps loosen it a bit. If that doesn't help, you could bring it back to your dealer and make him deal with it.

I might just try the hair dryer, Tks Freddie.
