My audio system
Hello,
I am relatively new as member in AA. Bit of my background, I was introduced with audio since I was 10 years old by dad when I grew up back in Indonesia. The stereo sytems was Technics Tape Deck with Technics Integrated amplifier with Pioneer speaker which I could not remember the exact model any more. Fast forward around 1 decade after that, I was started into workforce and I bought my first audio systems started with Denon CD player, Rotel RB 1080, Rotel RC 1070 and BW DM602S3. Top up another 2 decade after that, at present,I am running 2 stereo system, but only 1 is being setup atm, while the other set are on storage, waiting till my house renovation is completed. Here are some photos on 1 of my setup: http://22walterst.com/misc/pmc1.jpg http://22walterst.com/misc/pmc2.jpg http://22walterst.com/misc/pmc3.jpg http://22walterst.com/misc/pmc4.jpg http://22walterst.com/misc/pmc5.jpg http://22walterst.com/misc/pmc6.jpg |

Sweet system King!:thumbsup: We don't see those PMC's very often here in the USA.
|
Very nice components!
I know you'll enjoy your systems once your house renovation is complete. |

Temptation is too big, I visited my storage and open 1 box of records and enjoy a cup of tea with this. This is a short clip, it might not show the actualy sound quality but just for fun. Credited to my Iphone 7. Pardon the mess https://youtu.be/eN6qAmZL7_o |
Very nice King. Great equipment and a clean setup and sound. In my experience brick actually makes a decent diffuser and may not need much in the way of treatment.

I won't know anything about this speaker if I had not came to one of the local audio shop to audition a cable Tellurium Q Black Diamond. I notice a pair of twenty5.26 was being run and asking about port/ATL that caught my eye. Since then I came back couple of times to listen and it really hooked me. I end up buying a pair of speaker instead of a pair of speaker cable, no regret. |
I thought I should update my thread. It has been a year since my last update.
We have been planning to renovate the house last year including a dedicated listening room, however execution has been very slow and I am still here using the original room, but with the fresh gear :D Some of this gears suppose to be opened for the new listening room, but I could not stand and feel they are wasted on the storage, better enjoy them. Most of my gears have been upgraded. I have sold my Jeff Rowland, Accuphase, PMC and B&W 800. After many months of audition done, I settled with DD/AR combo with 2 pair of speakers, Magico M3, and little BW 803 D3. I use BW atm for me to enjoy while we wait till the new house is ready. Here are some photos: Amplification when they are arrived  http://22walterst.com/misc/king1.jpeg I was surprise I found a very nice print manual, not many gears now come with manual, they expect us to print ourselves from website :icon_thumbsdown:, Well Done "Audio Research". http://22walterst.com/misc/ref6_02.jpeg Setting up the tubes are easy and straight forward: http://22walterst.com/misc/ref6_03.jpg |

I got it from Audio Connection. |
so far my AMG turntable has been 5 years and still running fine.
This is the second oldest gear on my system. http://www.22walterst.com/misc/amg_04.jpg |
My audio research has passed 100 hrs. It is getting better everyday I listen to.
the combination Chord Dave->REF6->Progression turn out to be well matched and sounds incredible. I made another clip at REF6 100 hrs: https://youtu.be/jI44zV9NC58 |
