It makes sense that they would go with a streaming unit since most of the current content is on Tidal. Not sure what it would take to get their higher end products certified. :dunno:

N-05 and NR-7CD have the network board being capable for that. Other models do not have this board.

The D02X, D1, K01X and K1 do not have streaming ability so they would not fall into thr lkst unless the board is added. N05 and anything forthcoming would...

Purely hypothetical question, as I realize MQA isn't coming to the disc players at this point, but... would that mean that discs like the new MQA cd's wouldn't play on one of the disc based players if MQA was "attached" to the network board?

MQA CD will play at highest quality with MQA-supported CD Player.

For normal CD players, MQA CD will still play but not at highest quality.

This situation is quite similar to HDCD.
