Ivan.......Any comments on the McIntosh room? I see they are demoing the MCD1100, MC601's, and XRT1K's with the MEN220. How was the sound of this system?

most disappointing room of the show for me. They didn't treat the room well and the speakers simply overloaded the space.

Sloppy setup and it resulted in sloppy sound, imo.

Yeah, I was hoping for big things... I was at this show with a non-audiophile friend with no pre-conceived notions.

Before I said anything, his comment: "wow, what was wrong with that room!?"

You mean you guys were able to get that dude to play music. Ha I went to the room twice only to have him speak about how great the stuff sounded. Maybe that was him trying to avoid the having to demonstrate how bad they were lol

The other McIntosh room sounded good and I would characterize it as a good showing.
