RedEye Mini Help

I purchased a redeye mini and I can't seem to get it to accept activities using my ipad. I have my MX-120, cable box and bluray player selected as devices however if I try to select new activity I can't select a activity or a the layout of the buttons ?

Don't know anything about it, but the reviews are terrible:

This thing is really terrible. None of the codes I downloaded for each device work. I guess I will be sending it back to amazon.

I usually take reviews with a grain of salt, but everyone agrees this product is not ready yet. Too bad, it looks like a great gadget.

I thought Dan was using one of these devices?

Jim.......I am using the original RedEye Remote, not the Mini. The interface downloaded from the Apple Store for free is not what I consider up to snuff as far as GUI's go, but none the less I am able to control my system from my office with the iPod Touch via WiFi. All I really wanted was to be able to turn the main system on and off, select inputs, and control volume. It does that, so I am happy with it. It is difficult to get the RedEye programmed. They have no McIntosh codes in the RedEye data base, but you can teach it codes, so that's what I did. There is plenty of room for improvement, but I like the RedEye Remote. It serves my purpose.
