Michael Moebius pop art - collectible?

Any of you guys feel that his piece "pink bubblegum" with Marilyn Monroe is a collectible? I saw one when I was on vacation and was about to pull the trigger.

I had to look this up............forgive me .....i seen posters/pics/T-shirts and phone cases...........which are you referring to?

You should buy art that moves you and you find pleasing.

There is no point in buying something you don't like just in the hope that it will gain in value. Art has the value you are willing to put on it.

I can see many people finding this piece attractive but it does nothing to me. So even if it will gain in value, I wouldn't get it for myself ;)

Yes that's the one. There are 25 of them. 12 are sold. Started pricing at 25K and now 33K. THey said as they approach low single digits the pricing move to 70K.

It is gorgeous... so happy I bought it. I had it framed in museum grade frame with Truvue museum optiun acrylic.

Agree it is cool looking (those eyes :yes:). However, would not be something I would be willing to pay for.
