Saturday morning listening session

I am loving the McIntosh MC75 mono tube amplifiers. Morning sun, morning coffee, morning music with the living room system. Life is good.

Dan,
Love it. Morning coffee with a couple of MC75s is a great way to start the day.

Nice way to ease into the day Dan!

It appears that any added "headroom" of the more powerful solid state 452 in a non-issue!

John.......No headroom issues what so ever. By watching the meters on the C2300 preamplifier I can tell approximately how much power the amplifier is delivering. My typical listening level is seeing peaks around 7 watts, and that is an enjoyable volume level. I don't miss the MC452 in the living room system. The MC75's are rising to the occasion just fine.

Terry.......Music in the morning is how I begin each day. I turn the sound system on as I head to the kitchen to grind my coffee beans and brew a pot of coffee. That's my routine and has been for many years. Music has played a big part in helping me cope with an empty house this past eight months. I wouldn't want to be without it.

Good for you, Dan. One of the best things about the MC75s is how they allow one to 'enjoy the music' rather than worrying about the 'perfect set-up'. So easy to 'get lost' in the enjoyment of the performance with them.

Dan - Your studio system must be feeling pretty lonely these past few days :)

Gary.......I usually head down to the studio system in the evening, although I admit these past few nights have had me glued to the sweet spot in the living room. The studio two channel system gets plenty of play time. It's too good to ignore.

Great, everyday setup!

Any pics of the studio setup too?
