I was wondering if people have experience with the above dacs and how they compare?

IMO the DCS is more focused on detail and resolution. The MSB is more organic and relaxed.

I never heard them in the same system to make any comparison easy, but from what I remember you are spot on in your post.

I found DCS kit to be too sterile for my liking where as I find the MSB to be very easy on the ears
