Anyone else enjoying this series on Netflix?

I like the premise

I watched the first few episodes on regular TV when it started. I dropped it for being too far fetched for my tastes along with how bad an actor Kiefer Sutherland is. He sure didn't get his fathers chops.

I’m watching. Not sure if it’s a long term option. Seams to getting worse and worse as season 1 comes to a close.

It was canned after 2 seasons I believe by ABC. It was OK but nothing special.

Watching season 3 currently. It’s an acquired taste I guess.

My biggest gripe is not just how far fetched the conspiracy was - but they make smart characters do dumb things just to stretch the plot along.

“Agent finds critical information”
“Does not take photos or send it to boss”
“Gets ambushed and loses evidence”

Yeah, same- after 5 episodes I had sore knees from falling through the plot holes. Giving it a miss.

More Black Mirror to watch- woop woop!

I just started season 3 - looks like
A. Netflix made it better

Shorter series gives much tighter scripts.

I love the use of real people, real voices who are crying for a change. Much more aspirational. Very Madam Secretary-ish

The conspiracy takes a back seat. For the better.

B. Netflix made it worse.

Netflix is a symptom of what corporate world has become. Everything is on a contract basis. So they never tied down the cast and crew. So the series got cancelled partly because no one was tied down so they all looked elsewhere.

All I think about when watching it is Jack Bauer.
