FS: Squeezebox Touch & Channel Islands power supply
 

Doing some spring cleaning: I have an extra SB Touch I've had boxed up and stored for a year or two now. It's in good condition, with some normal wear/scuffing on the screen. Great for a second system, workshop/garage, or a backup if you already have one. I also have with it a Channel Islands power supply and a nice power umbilical to go with it. The power supply works fine, but the power outlet jack has a piece of the plastic broken off. The plug stays in, but if you're handy with a soldering iron it could use a replacement, or if you're seriously interested I could get a local tech to do it.

All original packaging, Will ship the lot to the CONUS for $150.

How much does the power supply improve over the stock?

I think it helps quite a bit when feeding to a separate DAC: quieter, and less congested in loud passages. The stock power supply is a wall-wart. Of course it all depends on what you're pairing it with. When I used it to feed a Bryston BDA-1 to my main system, it made a big difference. To a Cambridge Audio AVR in my workshop, meh.
