2060 vs others?

Looking at the 2060 amp, how does it stack up against the pantheon of amps?

I know there is a new 2160 amp and that should be better but are we really just splitting hairs?

I have read that the 2060 is better than the 1060 which I have heard and enjoyed.

How does the 2060 compare to the likes of a dagostino?

The 2060 is a great amp, IMO better than the D'Agostinos. The 2160 is a little better yet.

The game changer is the 3060 which I have had in my system since Tuesday. Astonishing!

Congratulations on the 2060. It is a great amp. I kept mine. It is too good to sell so I'm using it for the center channel.

Boulder 3050 Monoblock Amplifiers – Reviews | TONEAudio MAGAZINE

The review of the 3050s by Jeff Dorgay nails it. My audio friends who have been in to hear it have been blown away. The review accurately describes the progression from 1050-2050-3050. The stereo amps are very similar. The 3060 is pretty close to the 3050s. Boulder has changed the definition of "high end" but almost nobody knows it because you will never hear a 3060 at an audio show -- you can't plug it in to a hotel room outlet.

You will quickly be spoiled by the 2060. It will be like you have never really heard what your speakers can do.

When I look at the amp, in my head I hear Pink Floyd's "Welcome to the Machine", followed shortly thereafter by "Money".

The 2060 incoming was the reason why I didnt pull the trigger on a mint used set of DAG Momentums.

At first I thought maybe I made a mistake. But the 2060 is such a rare bird... I had to try it out myself.

I take delivery THIS SATURDAY!
