Problem with dCS Rossini reading CD-layer Hybride SACD

I have a problem with the dCS Rossini CD drive. I only use it as a CD player using the remote without the Rossini App! When I try to play a hybride SACD (of course the CD-layer) it can initially read the disc and also the total number of songs in the TOC will display correctly (e.g. 15 tracks), but when I press play it starts counting time but after 1 second it stops and the tray is opened again.
There is no damage or dirt on the CD. Does anyone has this experience with the Rossini player?:confused-29:
By the way when it is playing a CD it sounds great!
Only the drive mechanism makes a awful lot of noise when it is trying to read CD's and when its opening or closing the tray. I didn't expect this amount of noise for a dCS player of 22K€...:scratch2: I don't know if this is related to my problem previously mentioned?...

Gerald sir,

Is this with one particular hybrid disc or all your hybrids??

Best sir,

Bob

Is it a hybrid CD or is it a Dual Disc which has both layers but does not conform to the CD standard for thickness. I had a couple of those that wouldn't work in some players.

Gerald, I just sent you a visitor message -- basically so other AA'ers know -- dCS is on it. The top engineer at dCS in Cambridge, Martin Reynolds will reach out to you via email as soon you provide your email to me via the visitor message & I can forward it to Martin. (don't provide in this post).

BTW, dCS has a list of hybrids that don't conform to standards as the newer machines are less forgiving than the older ones.

Best sir,

Bob

Thanks for your reply and visitor message. However I do not know how to post you from the visitor message... The FAQ didn't help ...

You can contact dcs through thei website, they answer. I have tested the rossini at home during a couple of days, no noise when open or read the cd.
