Humming in phono stage
 

I just hooked up my newly acquired phono stage. Getting an annoying hum. Any tricks of the trade to eliminate this? My previous integrated with phono stage was dead quiet.

Yes, in fact connecting the ground wire makes I worse!

Ground wire from the turntable to the phono stage? Do you also have one going to your preamp?

Can you describe the problem a little more. How loud, both speakers, on all or 1 input? Congrats on the new phono, what is it?
