HD700's in the House
 

I bought a new pair of Senn HD700's for Florida, I have the HD800's in Cape Cod.

I read lot's of great reviews on the HD700's so I thought I would try a pair. Actual pics, and my impressions to follow.

How much is the HD700?

While I currently have the HD800, the Hifiman HE6 and the Audeze LCD3, my vote still goes to the HE6 when I want to do some critical listening. I use the LCD3 primarily on my portable/semi portable rig cos it's so easy to drive

how are they cost wise from the 800s and are a good step up from the 650s right?

They are priced in the middle at $1K

Listening Impressions to follow.

Ivan....I too look forward to your impressions. This is of particular interest to me at the moment. However, I feel resigned to the notion that I'll probably be settling for the 650's, due to the priceyness of the 700's and 800's. :sigh:
