Klipsch Forte III Special Edition
 

The Klipsch Forte III Special Edition is now on sale. This will be a limited production run of only 70 pairs of each unique finish (California Black Walnut and Matte Black).

I owned Forte I back in the day and traded them for a pair of Cornwall's. Loved both speakers and glad to see the Forte make a return appearance.

Me too -- had Forte II's with "Grandpa" Crites crossovers. Loved 'em. Glad they are coming back for the current generation.

The Klipsch Forte III has a superb new mid-range horn. Unfortunately, the speaker is only 36" high which places the mid-range sound below optimum ear level.

That 36" mid-range height is a very easy fix. Would be interesting to A/B with the Devore 0/93.

Klipsch is gradually creeping those prices up. The new Forte III Special Edition is $4600 a pair.

Hmmmm.......... wonder if there will be Cornwall IV with the new mid-range horn? Glad I'm in no hurry on new speakers (have to get our impending move over with - once the wife decides on the house).
