I heard them at the Munich show and they sounded pretty nice, given the limitations of the surroundings. Nice choice of music at the right level helped - most demonstrations elsewhere in the show were deficient in this respect.

Peter Thomas is a good guy too.

I think the PMC Fact 12 loudspeakers are very special, I have heard these and they were just superb and the midrange detail was impressive. The new two inch midrange driver might have something to do with that.

strangely there has been little talk of them here on AA..but they seem to have glowing reviews from around the world.

Hmmmmmm

finally got to hear these last night at the Lifestyle store in Sydney Australia connected up to an ARC Ref 150, REF 6 pre and REF CDP. They did not dissapoint and sound likea much much larger speaker.

sure they are not cheap but if WAF is high on your needs, they play beautiful music and are very visually appealing.

They did some magic with those 5inch woofers. The bass is good enough but not as low as a subwoofer.

I am also a Fact 12 owner and that I had been using spike plate when it first came in our house.

Until recent, another user of Fact 12, of which we were both sitting the Fact 12 on the hard floor, he tried to take out the spike plate and use the round tips directly place them on the hard floor. He claimed that the low frequency of this fact 12 has gone even deeper. I did try and experienced that it was absolutely true and the others advantage would have been significant. The overall tone has improved, the mid-range become more details, the image more solid and even the dynamic has improve.
