Network Players that support Bandcamp
 

Hi, guys!

A have a collection of musical albums on the Bandcamp service. Also I have a Sonos Connect network player, that supports streaming from my Bandcamp collection (I don't need to download each album to listen to).
Now I'm thinking about upgrade. Could anyone recommend a good network player, that suppors direct streaming from Bandcamp?

telematic.......I am not aware of any music server/streamer that presently supports Bandcamp. Since Bandcamp is a fan support base and artist exposure website where people pay to support their favorite artists on Bandcamp, as well as purchase merchandise, the business model may not be conducive to a typical music server. It also requires the Bandcamp Android, iOS, or Sonos app to work. Not sure how this would integrate with the current offering of music servers.

telematic.......Yes, I am aware of Sonos Connect. I own two. I thought you were inquiring about other commercially available music servers that provide Bandcamp access through their streaming capabilities.

You are slightly wrong. On the Bandcamp people pay for the musical albums in file format. One may listen to these albums online using browser, may download them as mp3, flac or WAV file, or (in Sonos Connect) redirect stream to a network renderer.
