Expensive Rack
Why purchase an expensive rack if I have stillpoints under every component?

:scratch2:
good question... |
I would think the vibration reduction is relative versus absolute. In other words, the less vibration the Stillpoints have to remove in the first place, the better the end results will be. Just a guess.

Not even Stillpoints can make up for the lack of having a high end rack, with great mass and isolation. A perfect example is having my Clearaudio TT placed within 5' of twin JL F113 subs. A lessor rack, would induce both feedback and skipping. http://www.audioaficionado.org/attac...d-dsc_3313.jpg |
That makes perfect sense for those that have turntables. What about in situations when no TT is involved?

Twin F113's would shake a CD player clean off!! |

Does anyone know of any reviews comparing the HRS and Stillpoints racks?
