ML-2 .... good preamp option?

I just bought a pair of ML-2 (toroidal) power įmplifiers that have seen almost no use, and would like to pair them with a preamp that help them to create magic. In your experience what brands/characteristics need to look for?, old or new models?, is not a matter of cost (within limits of course), is much more a matter of synergy. They will be paired with an avangarde UNOs original series speakers.
Thanks in advance

For the best synergy with AG speakers most users pair them with tube amplifiers.

Thanks audio bill but seems like there are 2 different opinions on that (as happens in almost everything in this hobby), some say tubes other say class A solid states ... . Besides this, what about a preamp that offers good synergy with this babies? . Thanks

Find an ML-1 in great shape and that would sound very nice indeed.

326S, 38S, any of the newer (post-2000) 'S' model Levinson preamps would be terrific. The newer the better.

Great, thanks for the advice.

As good as Levinson's other gear is, IMHO their preamps are the pinnacle of their designs.
