Magnum Dynalab Internet Radio Tuners
|
i have MD 108T tuner with DAC for a year or so- sent in my etude last yr for repair- ended up getting an 108 they had upgraded to triode & had DAC installed- real decent price with my etude trade --
few months back bought the 801 internet tuner which runs thru audio state of 108T - i just love it. can also play my tunes stored on MAC thru it- listen to internet radio almost exclusively- radioparadise.com is super. |

I got one of these (MD 807) last May and have been using it for 6 hours a day since then.
It plays internet radio, fm, digital, streams from ur server and has a great DAC on board. It looks good and feels nice and heavy. I cant say enough good things about it. The sound is excellent as you would expect from MD. The only criticisms are the interface is sometimes a little clunky but its not a deal breaker. Overall i would recommend without any hesitation and in fact im considering getting another one for a another room. best paul |
Despite the fact I don't currently have room for any more gear, I'd be interested in seeing how one of these compares with what I'm using today which is a Mac Mini plugged into my D100 DAC for Internet streaming. I'm sure MD has extracted as much quality as possible in their implementation.
