No. A dedicated redbook CD player. And based on the BDA-3 I bet it will sound great.

Makes it difficult, to use my current BCD-1 feed into the BDA-3 or just buy the BCD-3.

As posted in the McIntosh Forum I'm in the process of upgrading/changing my CD-Player. After reading a lot in this forum I'm pretty much targeted on the McIntosh MCT450 or the MCD301 to pair with my McIntosh C52. Is it a thought to wait until the Bryston BCD-3 hits the stores? Could this be an alternative to the above?

Do you own other Mc gear? Mc sounds more warm and rounded at the edges. Bryston's sound always felt (IMHO) more true to the music. Some call the sound analytical, but I want to hear every-last-detail and that what Bryston gear consistently delivers.
