Axpona 2015

Scanning through the The Absolute Sound magazine for July/August brought a smile to my face when I saw Jonathan Valin's best sound at the AXPONA 2015. Now I know a lot has to do with the room that the equipment is in and what electronics the speakers are paired with but I was happy to see that others also agree that the 3.7i's can make great music. I have been noticing that the .7's have been doing really well too and often recommended as a best buy for the money.

BEST OF SHOW
BEST SOUND (COST NO OBJECT) Magnepan 3.7i driven
by Pass Labs and sourced by exaSound. The most natural and
realistic sound at the show, price notwithstanding.
BEST SOUND (FOR THE MONEY) Magnepan 3.7i (again).
The most natural and realistic sound at the show (again). Runnerup:
King Sound Prince III, which was just so dang beautiful and
natural driven by KR Audio tubes.
MOST SIGNIFICANT PRODUCT INTRO DUCTION
Magico Q7 MkII.
MOST SIGNIFICANT TREND That I survived yet another
trade show.
MOST COVETED PRODUCT Magnepan 3.7i, Kronos LE Pro
turntable, and exaSound e22 Mark II DAC.
