My first power cord upgrade

Well I purchased a wireworld aurora power cord based on a lot of info from the forum. I installed it a couple of days ago and all I can say is WOW!! I can't believe how the bass is tighter and the midrange is more smooth to my ears:music:. I put on the blu-ray of Diana Krall live in rio and I must say the 602 was dancing I wasn't paying attention and the next thing I knew I hit power guard for the first time in almost a year. Thanks everyone for all the advice here on AA.:D

mac man...I hear ya, I never thought a power cord would make my system sound better. but it did! I heard an IMMEDIATE difference. I couldn't believe it. I would have never thought it was true until I heard it with my own ears.
It's just a power cable....or is it.

Not trying to be a wise guy, but I have never found cable changes to be audible, unless they were broken and not passing a signal! I have never understood how you prevent all of the cheap copper wire in voice coils, transformers, internal wiring and printed circuit board traces etc. from messing up whatever good the expensive cables are supposed to be doing?

I really am not trying to say anyone isn't hearing what they say they hear. So no crow need be served, although I usually like mine crispy, like duck.

Just have never understood how if the signal is flowing from point A to point B, and the new cable changes the signal coming into it, wouldn't the wiring in the next device in the chain change what came out of the new cable? For example, there is something like 50 feet of plain old copper wire in the voice coil of a woofer. Wouldn't that have a negative affect on the signal coming out of 8ft. of high end speaker wire?

A Wireworld forum might be just the place to get this answered?

Another skeptic among us? :D Funny how the skeptics always doubt and over think the whole process of how a cable or a power cord could possibly make a difference, yet when they finally try for themselves, the first reaction is usually "wow". :smoking: David, care to add your thoughts on this?
