Who has experience purchasing speakers on Amazon? I live in Japan and these speakers are marked up to 800,000 yen. Would like to purchase these with confidence in getting what is advertised.

I've been to their store in Fairfax. It was setup with Mcintosh and Focal. Nice place.

Have dealt with IQ and was happy with the experience. That is a wonderful deal on those 1008Be's. Makes me wish I had held off on purchasing mine. Great sound. Have never had a problem dealing with any of Amazon's vendors. They carry a pretty big stick if there is a problem.

Price looks really good, retails for twice the amount here...

And they are good speakers :)

pretty certain the price is per speaker. otherwise the msrp makes no sense

Correct, the ad states: "Listing is for 1 speaker. Purchase 2 for a pair." :tears:

Ah, well. At least I no longer feel bad about what I paid for mine.
