Acc. to Alan Shaw, Harbeth is one of the few "high-end" brands whose market share is growing...he discusses this in a YT video from Munich 2018.

How about shaking things up with some low-power tube gear and high efficiency speakers? DeVore was already mentioned, you might also look at some horns.

The Kii Three + BXT is a paradigm shifter (if I had to start over with a clean slate, and without breaking the bank, this would be it)

YG Acoustics is one of the best I have heard...ever. (Carmel, Hailey and Sonja are just otherwordly excellent)

MBL, very different to YG, but incredible performance of a different kind.

All three are king of their respective hill and bring something else to the table, all three will make you rethink what is possible in sound reproduction.

PS Audio may be worth a shot. The reports from Axpona indicated huge potential as they are finishing up final design.
