I have an opportunity to get a pair of Lamm ML2.1 18 SET amps and an LL2.1D preamp at a very attractive price... :scratch2:

I think this will be a very interesting shootout with your Shindo set-up. Especially since the ML2.1 will be suitably matched to your speakers plus you are adding SET into the mix :yes:

Both are SET and it is 10w vs 18w. I'd say it is a very fair fight! :boxingsm:
Both preamps are all tubes except that Lamm does not have a phono stage. Speakers (Tannoy) are more than appropriate for either, obviously! :thumbsup: I'm very familiar with the LL2.1D preamp since I already owned the LL2D and this newer version is just a minor update.

This could be very interesting and could be "the battle of century" in my listening room. :scratch2:

Oh, I think there has been some mistake here sir! :D I meant I was done with very expensive gear! I never said I would stop playing around with more reasonably priced gear, especially when some tremendous buying opportunities present themselves! :thumbsup:
