Jim.. You are going to love the C-37. After a good break-in (mine has about 150hrs or so of play on it) it sounds very open and detailed yet still has a bit of warmth that makes it sound quite musical. It's also very, very quiet. I'm hearing details in familiar recordings emerging from a jet-black background. Of course its build quality is beyond reproach and should be familiar to you. I suspect you'll be more than pleased with it and will spend some late nights, like me, spinning your favorites.

Super excited on this end. Your report is consistent with all the others.

As another Kleos listener will be most interested in your report. Mine will be running thru the AD-50 card for the next while.

Hello Frisqo, I’ll send some pictures of course ! For speakers I am using Sonus Faber Cremona M. I love those speakers... so much detail and great space positioning of sound... Do you confirm that upgrading to an A65 as a power amp would be a noticeable improvement on my E350? Thanks to all Accuphase lovers for this advice, much appreciated. |

Also another question for you Frisqo, I am actually connecting my Sonos to my DP500 to use the DP as a DAC, and then the DP500 sends the signal today to the E350. What do you recommend? Selling the DP500 (to be honest I am not using the CD player much anymore) and relying on the DAC50 card on the E350? Or should I continue to use the DP500 as a DAC? |
