If you start your N-05, you should be informed of the availability of a new Firmware version (11.4e). If you choose to update, you will then be Roon ready.
Also, for anyone interested in updating their K-01x to a K-01Xs, a factory kit is available and a price of $2700.00 for the kit plus $1000. for installation by Tap Electronics, (plus shipping) has been set. This service will update everything except the display.

Yes, you can find in on the website, the K-03x is also upgradable.

You might want to consider upgrading with a seperate dac.

I have come to a conclusion that the dac section of the 1 box esoterics are the biggest weakness, although they sound absolutely great.

I had the K-01, then the K-01x but have recently upgraded my dac.

Thinking that i do not play much cd's now, i had the intention to downside number of equipment as i do not want to add more rack space and let the K-01x go.

Connection the k-01x as a transport is really rewarding and i was not expecting such a performance increase.
