Look Who Came To Live With Us

Picked this up yesterday from a local seller who was the original owner. Unit is about two years old and he upgraded to Pass Xs. Got a really good deal and a smooth transaction. I really hadn't intended to upgrade the LS-26 I have used for so many years but the deal was just too good. I've read in a lot of places that Pass gear takes a long time to thermally stabilize, upwards of 48 hours, so have not done any serious listening yet as this had been packed up for a while. But something tells me I may be up real late tonight! :guitar:

Thanks guys! I'm looking forward to a nice evening spinning some tunes. Not looking forward to trying to lift the pre up and slide the FE Ceraballs under it.:scratch2:

Congrats Sal!
The XP-20 needs 5 days of warm up to sounds at their best.If you can, change the umbilical powercord by a Revelation Audio Labs Passage Cryo Silver Reference DB-25 umbilical....is one of the best upgrades i ever done in my system!
If you are thinking in ceraballs think in a couple of HRS DPX damping plates too, maybe Ivan can help you with this
Enjoy this beauty, really sounds amazing!

Thanks for the well wishes guys. I am completely floored by the fact my system had this much upside just by upgrading my preamp. Very impressive unit. I had listened to a Pass INT-60 several times while evaluating some Harbeth speaker models and had been very impressed by both its sound and build quality. The XP-20 certainly carries over in that regard and seems to mate well with my McIntosh amp. I'm very glad I jumped on this deal when I saw it.
