Shunyata Venom HC power cables - Shielding?

Fellow AAers,

Asking for some help answering a question... :scratch2:

Are Shunyata Venom HC power cables shielded? If so, how?

I am changing my configuration, and have been heavily considering a pair of Shunyata Venom HC power cables for my power conditioner and amp. They look like an outstanding value for price at my level. The 1.75m length is just what I will need.

I know some may argue whether it is necessary on a power cable, but I am less interested in opening that discussion (though will certainly listen) than simply knowing whether these are shielded cables. If so, any further information?

I have searched, and cannot find the answer. Shunyata states their Venom series speaker and signal cables are “heavily shielded”. However, I am having trouble finding anything explicitly describing shielding, or not, on the Venom HCs, or their Venom series power cables in general. Perhaps I am just overlooking it. Regardless, they look to be well-reviewed all-around.

Thanks in advance!

Best,
Shrinky

Ivan has let me know that Shunyata Venom HC power cords have a built in proprietary shielding. Great to know! Thanks, Ivan!

Given the recent sale on the Venom HC ($179?) I'd agree, they're a great value. I use the C-19 Venom HC to my Niagara 5000.
