Dean,

Love your room! You've managed to combine clean uncluttered lines with just enough soft touches to make it sleek yet warm and inviting. The wall color really pops against your white trim. Just plain gorgeous.

I really like that you've managed to move all your gear to the side wall. Gives the business end of the room a minimal look and provides easy access to the wall of vinyl. Well done!

Thanks Jax. We really enjoy it all. The wall of records is great. I love that. My wife picked out the wall colors.

Like I said before on AVS, your room looks awesome. I love the contemporary look and feel.

Dean and Jax, your rooms look great! Funny how this stuff happens in waves; I also just recently moved things around in my room and got my new upgrades in. Here are a few pics:

I'm loving the sound I've got. The Octave is really an amazing integrated. And yes, that is a Titanic poster, and no, it wasn't my choice :redface-1:

Octave V70SE...sweet!!!

How do you like the Moon 110LP. I just traded mine in a couple months ago for the Nova Phonomena. It wasn't going to work with my new MC cartridge.

This is my first foray into vinyl, so I can't say much, but I do like it! I have the 310lp here too that I could get a good deal on due to an error by the dealer when I was buying the octave. That said, I didn't really do a comparison between the two because I don't want to spend more money. I liked them both, and I love the octave!

The 110LP is nice but the 310LP is way better, especially if you get into a low output MC cartridge. The 110LP just doesn't have any loading options for LO MC. Once I ordered my Talisman I knew I had to upgrade from the 110LP. However, while I had a Dynavector 20x2H (HO MC) it was fantastic.

Analog is infectious. :D

I now have another Dynaudio based system. Since I changed my two-channel music listening room and moved the office part to another room, I needed a dedicated office system. I took a pair of Audience 52SE out of my 7.1 home theater system, an Arcam Alpha 9P power amplifier I wasn't using (actually had it up for sale) and bought a Squeezebox Touch. So now I have a little two-channel streaming system for the office that sounds good, but just that, not great.

Looks like Apple will be announcing a new Mac Mini tomorrow. I plan to buy one and use that as a media server for audio and video streaming throughput the house.

Edit: I've been listening to this more today and have decided the SBT analog out is not really that good after all...it's disappointing.
