New DIY Rack/Amp stand

6 Attachment(s)
I posted a couple days ago about a small little shelf I made for my Node 2, for under the desk in my new system in my spare room. I decided because of a combination of not liking the size of it on my desk and also to accommodate the room treatments that are on the way that I was going to move everything underneath the desk. I made this 2 shelf amp rack from cutting boards and some furniture feet I got from Home Depot. Because the Ma252 is an odd size, I turned it sideways from how a normal rack would look and it pretty much fits it perfectly. I think it looks better under the desk, it's less obtrusive but because it's a nice looking amp still wanted to be able to see it. Still need to tweak the isolation a bit, but here's some photos.

Thanks, I definitely agree. Plus I always need odd sizes, heights etc for racks. Sometimes it seems like only way to get it perfect is make it myself.

Nicely done!

I’ve signed up for an adult woodworking class, in large part because I want to be able to make my own stuff like this. Nothing beats being able to fully customize stuff to your exact needs.
