*Big update* to Sunshyne's system

After years of residing on the floor, finally the gear is off of the ground and away from the vacuum.

The back center of the cabinet has a cut out about the size of the c2200 for cables and at the top there is a 1" band for air circulation. When playing, I slide the glass panel to the side. Records are stored in the sides.

Very nice. I love the classic look of your equipment rack:thumbsup:

Thanks Douglas. It is mid-century inspired, made by a shop I found on etsy. I figured a turn table and some tubes would go well with the style.

Looks great.....nice and clean....enjoy.

Thanks Buck.

Yes, very classic looking. Very nice!

tompj 04-15-2015 01:50 PM

In one word, beautiful!

crwilli 04-15-2015 02:43 PM

It's modern 'Mad Men'. I like it. All it lacks is a 'Mad Men' liquor cabinet. ;)

Sunshyne 04-15-2015 02:45 PM

Aww thanks everyone. It definately lacks a liquor compartment ;) but serves as a nice storage unit for my gear.

Looks great! Very mid-century in style and function. Nicely done.

Masterlu 04-15-2015 07:51 PM

I think the gear cabinet makes everything work, nicely done! :ok:

Sunshyne 04-15-2015 09:04 PM

Thank you Michael and Ivan. That room is finally done for now. Maybe a pair of subs down the road but it's been enjoyable.

jdandy 04-15-2015 09:13 PM

Chris.......The new cabinet looks cool, almost 1950's retro look. Very nice that you can also store albums in the side storage. The entire setup now looks finished. Great job.

Thank you Dan. I do have a taste for mid century stuff. It has clean lines and can still create a warm feeling environment. I think the mc60's sparked the interest.

Bluemcintosh 04-15-2015 11:46 PM

Excellent. Very nice room and gear . Do you play guitar as well ?

Thanks for share .

Nice room and system!
I like the coffee with milk on the table. Gives a fine touch to the photograph.

Sunshyne 04-16-2015 05:32 AM

Thank you Paul. You must have spotted the Blues Jr and cab in the corner. Playing helps me stay well mentally lol.
Bart, the coffee comes out sometimes, this occasion was my day off and first time listening to music in a while. Thank you!

Very Nice. Those Vienna Acoustic speakers look very nice. Do they sound as nice as they look?

Very nice looking system and room. The cabinet is very cool, and it all hangs together well, right down to the rug.

FlyhiG 06-03-2015 06:53 PM

All gems in your system. Very pleasing.

Egeswald 11-28-2017 05:11 AM

Hello Sunshyne,

I agree with the above posts. You have a very beautiful system. I appreciate the clean style. Wonderful VPI TT.
You indicate JBL 4429 as loudspeakers. But as far as I know, the speakers on the photo are not 4429... Could you elaborate?

Rojet2015 11-28-2017 02:26 PM

It is always inspiring to see such well thought out systems on AA.
