The daVinci sound is superb, detailed, smooth, musical. Definitely this v2 series represented a departure for the in house sound of Clearaudio. Not analytic or clinical, not overly warm, just an accurate reproduction of what’s in the groove. With your TT/arm you won’t be disappointed. I’d have to say the cartridge settles in at no more than 20-25h. Never harsh, but got smoother and maybe a little more forgiving of a little less than perfect vinyl. Have not felt the need to upgrade, will probably send for retip.
