Ivan.......Great news. The specifications look excellent and it has USB input. If the price is attractive this player will sell like hotcakes.

I was at the dealer today, was told msrp for the mcd550 @$6500. Not bad at all.

Great price for a McIntosh CD/SACD/USB player. I wonder which DAC it uses and how the SQ compares to the MCD-1100?

This is perfect for those who don't want to give up putting on their favorite SACD or listening to a Digital music file..
