WW Speaker Cables & Risers
 

I had a recent discussion with Davis Salz CEO of WireWorld. The topic of cable risers came up, and David shared with me the following;

Due to the DNA composilex used in the entire line of Series 7 Cables and soon to be released Series 8, cable risers are completely not needed nor will they provide any benefit.

I further questioned him, what about the colder months when static electricity is a problem especially on carpet.

He reaffirmed, risers provide no benefit whatsoever with WW cables.

There’s a benefit in making an audio choice, that’s were technology can lower costs.

What about floor borne vibration?

Not a problem either; besides risers do nothing for that.

Audioquest states that for their cables also, risers are of no benefit.

I always thought they were snake oil...
