My 2nd Silenzio Experience

Yesterday with the help of E installed my 2nd Silenzio, this one is affectionately called McWall.

It feeds into my MCD1100>C1000>MC2301's>Strads in my 2-Channel room.

Check back later for all the photos. ;)

Is there a manual (PDF) at all? Or is it all downloaded to your brain via WW Platinum cables?

I will say that Silenzio #2 was a slightly trickier install... and Ivan has been both very patient and an extremely good remote handler of all the things I had him do (he certainly got his stairmaster exercise with having him go up and down several times to deal with his router).

I can't wait to see the final pics, as he's been bragging how perfectly placed he has this on a stack in the back atop PPPs... :)

Photos as promised...

With over 12 sources for this room, I have to label my inputs. ;)

Small preview monitor (in catwalk) so I can see what Silenzio is doing

Silenzio #2 sits on top of three PPP's which are on their side. There is an Elan fan unit on top (not needed for Silenzio; runs cool as a cucumber) previously put there to remove any heat generated by the PPP's

VooDoo right angle power connector can be seen between the Silenzio and Gold Eclipse cable

Close up of Silenzio's power button

Slightly better angle to show Silenzio's placement

Another side angle shot showing Silenzio's position in the catwalk

Final shot of the preview monitor, and some Shunyata gear, again in the catwalk

Really really dumb question here but when using the USB to DAC connection, what USB port on the back of the Silenzio is used? There is more than one, right?

I totally understand need labels...oh YES I DO! :D

There are multiple USB inputs on the back of Silenzio, even has one on the right side near the front. :ok:

Yes, I understand it has more than one, hence the question. Which one is used?

Have you had a chance to listen to the new setup yet?
