I have only heard Canton at a couple of shows. I don't think there are too many dealers so hearing them can be a problem.

What do you like about them and what did they replace in your system. I think you are the go to person here.

Jim
You right is harder find Canton dealer especially Reference line, I bought mine without hear first Canton Vento 807 and after 809 (big brother), I never hear the Canton Reference's . I having before Boston Acoustics VR3 (good speaker for the money). Canton 807(really good for the $) for me sound is mush like to Sonus Faber monitor Guarneri evolution I think(cost $17.000 really beauty ) the dealer close to home have, Canton 807 have more bass, just me saying. My Canton 807's/MC352/C2200/Yamaha CD-S700 no acoustics panels yet - Dealer SF Guarneri MC452/MC275/C2300/MCD301 with acoustics panels, same cds.

I'm going from a pair of Focal 806Vs to the Canton 820.2s. I have not heard the Cantons, but a good friend of mine owned a pair of 830.2 He says the Cantons bring great detail without being fatiguing.

The Focal 806Vs are the most natural sounding speaker I have had the pleasure of owning. These are definitely non fatiguing speakers. I have used them with solid state and tubes. The tube gear paired with the Focal 806vs will give you a holographic 3D texture. My friend is using a hybrid amp with his Cantons, so I believe the Cantons will have their work cut out if they are to be superior to the Focals.

It really is tough to find much on Canton here in the states - and I'm not sure why. You know I'm a fan :D

Canton Reference and Audionet gear. I wrote a letter to Canton via email a few years back asking them what they voiced their speakers with....they said Audionet. Makes sence seeing both are German.

Thanks for the video. To bad nobody have the Canton Reference 1.2 or 2.2 and compare to, maybe Sonus Faber, Wilson, Magico, Focal or other well know here. Should be fun.:D

Canton makes a good speaker. The 830.2 is a little rounded off on the top of the frequency spectrum and a little more forgiving than most speakers in the midrange.
