CR1 MKII's w/ stands now retail for $49K

(This pricing went in to effect since 1/1/16)

Ivan,...heard from an audio buddy that was researching that the R1s are now 98K in the US and the CR1s went up as well,. Is this true?

at this moment in Europe the prices are
ME1 TAD €12.900,00

TAD CE1 TAD €19.900,00

TAD CR1 MKII TAD €46.000,00
so no need to bring a pair as hand luggage :)

Seems like they're following the Avalon model of ridiculous price hikes - the Avalon Isis price increased a mere 50% over a couple of years or so.

Whew - my slightly used set of R1s is being packed up as we speak, at a great price!

I heard the ME-1s in Munich and was blown away. Get em while you can.

Is that all? I think they should charge way more. The less “value”, the more “lust” that’s how the “audiophile” mind is wired. Of course they should cost as much as a Mercedes Benz S class. There is no “unobtanium” in the Benz like there is in TAD. :D

Well, if they don't charge outrageous price, they wouldn't be considered "most exclusive, most coherence speaker ever, best speaker ever produced in the world." There is always few out there would come up with a justification for ridiculous price hikes. Oh that's not expensive enough for me, you should charge me 5x as much:music::banana:
