Well............. drat. Might have sprung for a new Gen 2 if had known that.
The WA6 Gen1 is sounding great. Gave the Woo folks an e-mail this a.m. to ask a couple of questions and they were a great group to chat with. Michael Liang. But, should I find the 'need' to go balanced, will likely look at Dennis Had's offering with Lundahl x-formers, which are about as good as it gets. https://www.audioaficionado.org/atta...1&d=1537546325 Well........... guess I did need to go balanced (actually, needed a second amp for the living room, where I do most of my reading). Ask my local dealer (as local as 40mi - dealers are far & few between down here) if he might have an Audeze Deckard available and he offered me a BHA-1F at an astounding price, so will pick it up tomorrow. WA6 will be moving to the LR. |
***disclaimer, I work for Woo Audio***
WA22 is my favorite Woo amp for its size, price, and features. WA33 is higher performance but also significantly higher price and bigger. @formerly YB-2, WA22 is plenty for your collection of headphones. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sm-vA_dohn4 |

That WA22 looks like a nice option. Should I find that a 'balanced' amp (Bryston BHA-1) makes that much difference then may have to upgrade from the WA6 to the WA22. Thanks.
