Pete... I have them in my P10's. Very subtle improvement.

Not so subtle in mine. They're in all my equipment.

In my PS Audio DS DAC and my P5. Not a big improvement, but it's real.

I have them in my Schiit Ragnarok and PS Audio P5- very nice improvement for a very reasonable investment.

My experience has been nothing short of AMAZING. After this fuse was recommended to me by US Blues (see above), I felt a bit silly paying so much for a fuse but I am certainly glad I did.
I think because my system is simpler and all vintage, my mileage was vastly improved. I really can't get over the improvement and I want to listen more daily as a result.
The sound now has much more energy, and it is what I would call more "professional". By this I mean that there is much more definition of the instruments and more separation of them. Even at lower gain settings this is evident, and I don't need as much gain to get the same sound as before. So it tells me everything is more efficient. The value for me was exceptional and immediate.
It is easy to do an A/B test by swapping them out, but I did not need to, just burn in a little. Also, there is a 30 day guarantee if you feel there is no improvement.

In my PS Audio P10, and Mcintosh MC501 amplifiers, using the SR Red brought about better tonality, deeper bass, and smoother treble.

Interestingly, I couldn't get them to work in my pre-amp without blowing. So I continued using my Hi-Fi Tuning fuses in the pre-amp, which are equally good, but have a different sound with a more mid and high focus.

The SR Reds are my current fave fuses. I haven't tried lots of combinations, but of the ones I've tried, the Reds give most of what I like, which is increased definition across all frequencies, but with absolutely no harshness. Not as forward sounding as the HFT Supremes, so the Reds are not recommended if you're looking for more treble energy.

I have one in my Resolution Cantata. nice improvement and well worth the money $90.00 it does come with a 30 day return policy as do all Synergistic Research products.

The new Black fuse out is supposed to wipe the Red's B...side now and priced like another 33% over the Red.
