I have the Lyra Etna mounted on the Gimbal, it’s HW recommendation, both top ends and bass are magical

My new TT will come with the 12” Fat Boy Uni with dual pivot. Will be very expensive to buy a second Fat Boy for a mono cart!

Which turntable are you expecting?

It’s a secret, but I’m going to visit it while it’s being built next week in NJ. Soon to be announced. ;)

I'm going to visit my build in progress on Wednesday. It's like going to the nursery to see your kid for the first time, but he's still in the incubator!

No longer a secret, and the answer is in my avatar. Classic Direct with 12" Fatboy unipivot/dualpivot. I had to make the decision between the HW40 and the Classic Direct. I just think Harry got it right with the Classic Direct, and cosmetically I really like the rosewood all the way around the table. And gimbal arm is the option on the first 400 HW40's.

Don't get me wrong, the HW40 is a beautiful turntable with all kinds of great tech. Love them both!
