Anyone seen this yet? We took the girls last night, what did you think?

I thought it was ok. Not in the same class as Thor Ragnarok, Black Panther or Infinity War.

But I enjoyed as an origin story for Nick Fury too.

Wife said it was terrible and she contemplated sleeping through the movie even though we watched it in the premier Atmos cinema. :)

FWIW. I really love Marvel movies, but feel they have been going downhill for many years now. :sigh:

You have to figure the Marvel fatigue will hit everyone eventually. I thought Infinity War was excellent, but they've been on the same story arc for a long time now. What will really tell the tale is what happens after Avengers: Endgame. If they keep rolling after that then who knows how long the shelf life will be. Captain Marvel made an absolute boatload of money this weekend so it continues.

I saw at at IMAX and enjoyed it. It was not as good as Infinity War but had a compelling story that filled in a lot of blanks in the Marvel storyline. Brie Larson was great. I thought there would be more connecting tissue to Avengers End Game and that was the only disappointment.

I saw it at IMAX as well and enjoyed it. I thought the first 15 to 30 minutes was a bit awkward, a lack of chemistry. But completely enjoyed the rest of the movie. Also really likes getting the back story on Fury and Coulson. In my humble option I can’t say that I feel they have gone downhill bc I think Infinity Wars was one of if not the best film out of all of them. Very interested to see how end game ties it all together

We were disappointed with Thor Ragnarok and Infinity War. Don't think we will be purchasing anymore Marvel movies in the near future. :tears:

Saw it yesterday and we thought it was great. The flashbacks were insightful and filled in the back story. Definitely a movie that needs to be seen at least a second time as there was a lot going on. We missed the second clip at the end as I had to visit the head.

Without giving anything away you didn’t miss anything in the second clip.
