The Best BR Movies for Demo ???

OK, guys I know the majority of you have BR players and therefore the BR Movies.

I'm sure there are like the (Best-of-the-Best).
I Luv Sci-Fi .......

I'm thinking (Avatar) as one in the above category.


I'm not just wanting to know about Sci-Fi I was just mentioning it.

Mind sharing with me the BR Movies that are among the Top of the Class.

I have not had a BR Player so have not had any reason to keep up with which BR Movies have been Rated at the Top.

I'm sure as in anything opinions vary.
But in this case I'm thinking there are BR Movies that are simply the Ultimate for Demos.

Let the List begin and hopefully some of your thoughts along with your recommendations.

Master and Commander, Transformers, and Battle Los Angles are all good. Also, most every BD concert I've picked up really good too. You should get lots of recommendations.

I am reading and paying very close attention to your recommendations in your post.

This is going to be great once I make the drive over to Best Buy to make my move on BR movies.

Star Trek (the newest incarnation)is a a great "go to"...the first scene with the birth of Kirk is great! Enjoy :thumbsup:

Saving Private Ryan - Omaha Beach
Iron Man 2 - Air battle vs. drones
Master & Commander - any battle scene, but the fog n' cannon scene is epic
Tron:Legacy - just about any part as long as the score is playing
X-Men:First Class - submarine battle scene
The Matrix: Lobby shootout and helicopter drop
Live Free or Die Hard: McClain vs. F35
The Fifth Element: Opera scene
The Patriot: any battle scene with cannons
Star Trek (new one): when they approach the ship for the first time "Enterprising Young Men"

Just a few off the top of my head...

Any Pixar movies are demo worthy. Toy story 3 or Cars 2 are amazing. Kung Fu Panda 2 is incredible as well.

I agree with Master and Commander. Avatar, sure. The first Transformers is great.
