Burmester 089 pin polarity

Hi,
can anyone confirm if the Burmester 089 pin polarity can be inverted? As my kit list shows, the unit would be connected to my Mcintosh C1100. I've lusted for the 089 for some time but the polarity question niggles me. Thanks for any advice.

Yes, it can be inverted in the setup menu. :ok:

Thanks Ivan. I downloaded the manual but found no reference. Out of interest what are your impressions of the 089? I should point out that it would be in addition to my current system and not a replacement. Thanks again.

It's a very nice CD player, but no match for the Esoteric K01-X. Not even in the same zip code.

I appreciate that Ivan. I think I may sit tight after all.

I haven't played my 089 for about 3 years now, since getting my first K01.

Ivan, I wondered if you were mistaken regards being able to invert the polarity in set up. According to Burmester this is not possible, which explains why there is no mention of polarity inversion in the manual. I will be taking delivery of the 089 in the near future and Burmester are making up a set of custom cables which will invert the polarity for use with my Mcintosh C1100. I'll certainly post my impressions once I've lived with the 089 for a little time.
