Do you camp?

What type of camper are you?

I haven't camped in years, but when we did, it was with a tent, coleman stoves and lanterns.

That was a lot of fun.

The type of camping I do these days is mostly restricted what I'm able to do with this guy:

Mostly car camping or short hikes. Lots of extra gear to carry. Having just moved to Colorado, we do make an effort to get outside though, despite it being much more difficult.

Doug.......I don't mind camping as long as there is a restaurant and bar downstairs, fresh towels and linens each morning, a hot shower, and wifi. :D

I've backpacked and camped since I was 18. Some beautiful wilderness spots: Canadian Rockies, North Cascades, Tetons, Wind Rivers, Elk Range and Adirondacks. My wife's idea of camping is Econo Lodge ;)

An involuntary one, if at all.

I used to tent camp 2 or 3 times a year but now it's maybe only once and only if I'm camping with my brother. These days it's a room at the Hampton for me. :D

I used to camp a lot when the growing up and my kids were young but pebbles feel like boulders now. Air mattresses always deflate halfway through the nigh and cots....not nearly enough cushion for these old bones.
