Audio Research VSi60 and Leben CS600 Integrated Tube Amp Comparisons

I'm looking down the road to yet another upgrade, and was wondering if anyone had some first hand experience comparing the Audio Research VSi60 and the Leben CS600. I've heard the Leben with some DeVore 3XLs and it sounded superb. I've never heard the AR. I'm just wondering if the Leben is worth the extra $2k over the AR.

And yes, I will demo either of the items before making a decision, I just wanted to do my due diligence before proceeding. It will be paired at first with my Gibbon 8s and then possibly later with the new Gibbon 88s.

Thanks.

Hi, i have not heard vs60i, but vs55i pairing Pro Ac D28 at friend place, and i m using leben cs600 pairing D28 too, both system produce different sound characteristic. If you wan music with speed and impact, ARC is the choice. But if u wan a natural and smooth sounding across the frequency range with sweetness, CS600 is highly recommended.

CS600 give flexibility of tube rolling, and KT120 is on it way for me to try ... wooo, will report after i try.
