WOW! Bit of a different form factor than their current Innovation series. I'm guessing that thick plinth is mostly Panzerholz, which would be MUCH thicker than any one layer in their Innovation line; almost as thick as the Delrin platter. Surely there must be some serious hidden magic going on here for $40K ask...perhaps a magnetic drive system hidden inside the plinth, or a high-end direct-drive motor? Could this be the precursor of a new high-end line to replace the Master Innovation? I love mine (and I like that some visitors can't wrap their head around it even being a TT, at first), but the Innovation series has had a very long (and successful) run.
Very cool anyways, and I'm very curious to see the details come out! |
Master Innovation
I recently got Master Innovation (MI). I compared the Jubilee Reference to MI. Both great but MI had greater contrast. MI a very big risk and big financial commitment for me. MI had Goldfinger cartridge and 30K arm, so not a level paying field. MI to me was superior to Techdas AF5P which I compared another day. Air Force 3 Premium sould be a perhaps superior table to MI. I didn't like the idea of vacuum machine too much.
It will take many years for me to afford another component. But I liked MI/goldfinger more than DCS Vivaldi when there was a show at the store about 5 years ago. Thanks. |
