The Green Side
I've stepped into the Green Side.
I ordered an Arome + 2 Shindo ICs from Matt. Shindo here I come... slowly  |
Congratulation Tommy! Can't wait to read more and see some photos.

Congrad's Tommy!
Thanks for supporting one of our Sponsors! |
Thanks guys. Matt has a current generation Arome on demo, so I snatched it up. This is not how folks usually get into Shindo. But I like being different. I plan to try it as a passive preamp too.
I did seriously consider Burmester. But they are just too expensive. Plus, I just can't resist all the Shindo talk. My goal is to get a Shindo monoblock at the end. This should work with my GM. |
Tommy,
I think you are really going to enjoy it. Congratulations. Matt is a terrific individual to work with. I think you'll really enjoy working (long term) with him as you continue your green maneuvers... Be careful, though, you might end up not jumping on this board that much anymore as you find yourself lost in your music! Best wishes. |
Welcome to the green army...I've also thought about using the Arome as a single source passive and might do so in a second system if no buyer for mine.
Look forward to your experience. |
Congrats Tommy!
:ttiwwp:  |
Will post pics and compare the Arome as a passive preamp to my Luxman C-383 preamp when it arrives.
Now I need some help with the next step of my Shindo Journey. Should I start with an Aurieges and use my Luxman SS amp? Will this give me that Shindo magic? or should I start with an Apetite for a full Shindo effect? |
