My 1988 JD 175 just keeps on ticking. Unlike many (most?) brands, when they need new tires you just buy a new lawn tractor. The old tires are branded John Deere. $250 worth of tires and ready for another 30yr (or until we sell the house).

Nice!

I use a 60" X Mark zero turn. I cut about four acres of grass with trees in all the wrong spots! So the zero turn makes the job a lot faster.

This is my setup. Craftsman 20 HP Lawn Tractor with my Cyclone Rake when I need it. Great for leaves or anytime I don't want to mulch.

John Deere X728 w/a 62" deck makes quick work of the acre of grass I cut.
Also got a 54" power angle blade for the snow. The AWD is awesome. Never get stuck w that full time AWD. A great machine but super pricey......over 12k....nicer than my car. lol |
John Deere X300..
hbar "Never, Ever, give yo tractor key to the wife, it will cut down on seat time." the wimmens dig the seat time too.. |
